Nicole Lyons is fueled by the same horsepower that moves the cars she races. Although
Lyons is only 5’6”, her exotic beauty, spirited personality and kinetic intensity make her seem larger than life. Realizing her dream and becoming the first African American female to race professionally in the NHRA Pro Stock series.

Currently competing in the NHRA Lucas Oil Series Division 7, Lyons’ 2006 race schedule consists of 24 competitions that include the PSCA racing series, the So Cal Super Street series and the Pontiac Drag Days series. The season kicked off in March of 2006 and Lyons is already breaking track records with her Firebird’s whopping 1100 horsepower engine that she herself built along with her father, the late Jack Davis and the engineering team of QMP. Her superior engines gather major attention in the automotive world as the most powerful of their kind.
